There were very few things that I did not like about Plentyoffish.com. The only thing that I did notice was that I tended to get more instant messages from guys looking to hook up.

Recently, I visited the free online dating service, Allsinglesmeet.com. It was different than most of the free ones for several reasons. There were loads of free features that are normally part of premium package on most dating sites. Some of the features that I was delighted to see were instant messaging, web chat, a customizable profile with backgrounds, mp3 player, and video uploads.

Another thing that impressed me about this free online dating site was that even though there are not 100,000 members, Allsinglesmeet.com reviews all profiles before they are approved and live on their site. They told me that they do this to stop spam and scams. They want to keep the site clean and protect their members.

The navigation is not as simple as some of the other free dating sites. It took me awhile to find my way around this site but really enjoyed all the features. I did get a chance to chat with a few other dating members and found that to be a lot of fun.

Best advice is to try a few. Since there is no cost for a free online dating membership, you have nothing to lose.
