I have been through similar experience so my advice is to let him go, just like that. Yeah, just like that. You know he's not being honest with you, whatever that is. If you send him the get well soon card, he will think his game work on you that he will continue doing that to you, knowing that he can. If you try to kick his a**, he will think you're hurt (instead of angry!). If you're hurt, it means you love him - they will use that to take you back. He would do anything and you might slip again. If you let him go easily, he would wonder all his life if he's ever meant something to you. That could hurt man's pride, and that's how you punish him. You probably have seen this joke somewhere: A man who left his girlfriend a long time ago wanted her back. She said no. He pledged, "You will never find anybody like me". She responded, "Thank God!" Anyway, if you keep meeting the liar kind, it doesn't meal all men are liars. It just means you meet the wrong guy. There are honest, sincere men out there - look at how many marriages that last!
